Fenouillèdes, the authenticity of unique terroirs

Fenouillèdes has the distinction of concentrating a number of different appellations.

The best known are the prestigious Maury, a natural sweet white or red wine, as well as Rivesaltes and its muscatel, which stretch across Fenouillèdes.

But the Côtes du Roussillon Village appellation is also strongly represented and even declined as a Village appellation in the communes of Caramany, Lesquerde and Latour-de-France.

A long history of winemaking

Thanks to its variety of soils, Fenouillèdes is home to a number of prestigious Protected Designations of Origin, over 70 cellars and wineries and several wine cooperatives to discover the region’s sweet and dry wines.

Discover the subtle blends of grenache, muscat, macabeu, carignan or syrah… in numerous estates.

    It protects the name of a product in all the countries of the European Union.

    The Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) designates a product for which all the manufacturing stages are carried out according to a recognized know-how in the same geographical area, which gives the product its characteristics.
