The estate was created in 2002, with 10.5 hectares of vines that have been organic from the outset and are classified as AOC Côtes du Roussillon Village Latour de France.
The soil is arid, very stony and often shallow, with one third schist and two thirds gneiss mixed with granitic arenes.
Seventy per cent of our vines are 40 years old, while the rest are between 50 and 70 years old. The grape varieties are rarely homogeneous, with black, white and grey Grenache rubbing shoulders with Carignan, which is in the majority.
The entire vineyard is certified organic by ECOCERT, and no weedkillers are used. The grapes are harvested by hand, enabling a rigorous sorting process, with only the grapes that could be eaten going into the vats.
