This floor tile was laid by the winegrowers' family in the early 1900s to house the grape-pickers during the harvest. In the past, this gîte was divided into 3 boxes where the grape-pickers could rest.
This terracotta floor has been left in all its authenticity for you, with all its imperfections and paint stains, which make it so unique. So that you too can immerse yourself in this facet of the history of Maury's fine wine and the atmosphere of the daily life of the local winegrowers!
This gîte is located in Maury, close to the Cathar castles, the Bugarach peak and 30 km from the Gilbert Brutus stadium in Perpignan.
